Here at Shooters, we also provide outbound transfer service. If you have a firearm you need to ship to another state, we can help you with that process.

You will need to bring in your firearm(s) along with a valid drivers license. Be sure you have the FFL dealer’s information on hand to put on the outbound transfer form. If a person other than you is picking up the firearm(s) on the other end, have his/her name, phone number, and email available as well.

It is your responsibility to know the gun laws of the state you are transferring the firearm too.

Transfer fees vary any where from $35 to $55 per gun. If you buy the firearm from us and then have it transferred, we only charge you shipping cost. Shipping cost also varies depending on if it is a long gun or handgun, where it is going, weight, and dimensions. We will call you with the shipping cost when the firearm(s) is boxed, measured, and weighed. Both the transfer fee and shipping fee can be paid at this time over the phone.  If someone other than you is paying for the transfer fee and/or shipping fee, please let us know at time of drop off.

We can not ship the firearm(s) till we receive a copy of the FFL license of the FFL dealer you are having it sent to. It is not required for you to bring in a copy of the FFL but if you have a copy, it does speed up the process. We usually contact the FFL dealer for a copy. Once we receive a copy, we can start getting the firearm(s) ready to ship.

WE NO LONGER OFFER OUT OF COUNTRY TRANSFERS, THIS INCLUDES PUERTO RICO. DUE TO FEES AND COMMUNICATION COMPLICATIONS, IT HAS BECOME AN ISSUE TO COMPLETE THIS TYPE OF TRANSFER. WE WILL ONLY SHIP TO THE CONTINENTAL STATES, ALASKA, AND HAWAII.
