Learn to use sights to shoot the gun with proper sight alignment. Learn to shoot targets at 5 and 7 yards. Learn ways to practice at home to improve sight alignment before coming to the range with proper sight alignment.
Use proper grip and stance.
Use the front sight to focus on the target as use the rear sights. The proper sight alignment is focus on the front sight but aligned with the rear. The focused on the target. The should be a balance of light between the front sight and rear sight as you look at the sight at the target.
Follow gun safety rules. Use an unloaded gun. No ammo in the room. Get a good stance and good grip on the gun. Point gun at a target focus on front sight using proper front sight alignment. (optional) load with dummy ammo. Point the gun at the target. Pull trigger as you point at target 5- 7 feet away. Manually reset the trigger which will eject the dummy round. Practice for 3- 5minutes prior to range or daily at home.

Prerequisites: Completion of Handgun Introduction class (Ladies only or Co-ed), an open mind, and close toed shoes.
Required Gear: Comfortable clothes and shoes. Personal handgun if you own one, otherwise we will provide firearms, ammunition and targets
YOUR SEAT WILL NOT BE RESERVED UNTIL THE CLASS IS PAID FOR.
You must sign up and pay for the class no later than 4:00pm the day prior to the scheduled class time. This will give our instructors enough prep time for the class. When filling out your information, please provide all information asked for. This includes first and last name. Our internal system lists students by last name first. This will help prevent us from sending payment request emails to those who already paid.
